In today’s dentistry aesthetic carvers serve to replace amalgam fillings. They are recommended in cases when the intact denture is incomplete or the tooth can no longer recover with an aesthetic filling. Inlays/Onlays are prepared based on an impression of the teeth, and are suitable for the partial or complete reconstruction of the occlusal surface of the molars.

The Inlay/Onlay is the transition between the filling and the crown, since molars do not need polishing and thus the lifespan of the tooth can be extended by 10-15 years.

HOW IS THE AESTHETIC CARVER PREPARED?
During the first meeting your dentist takes an impression of the occlusal surface of the tooth, and based on it our technicians prepare the unique aesthetic carver in the colour determined by the patient and the dentist.
During the next occasion your dentist fixes the carver to the tooth with special glue.
